JORGE BURGOS, M.D.
For three decades working as an Primary Care Physician, Dr. Burgos has educated himself on the subject matter of aesthetics in order to broaden his scope of service. Originally trained as an Internal Medicine doctor, Dr. Burgos completed his residency at the Woodhull Medical Center in New York. Before that, Dr. Burgos was educated in his home country of the Dominican Republic at the renowned Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña.
Since his completion of his medical education in 2003, Dr. Burgos has exclusively served the Las Vegas community and has relentlessly strived to learn more about both the medical problems in his community and the advancements in aesthetic technology. His focus on aesthetics stems from his interest in gross anatomy and from patient demand, and has evolved to be one of his favorite professional pursuits.
ROSA FERMIN, AESTHETICIAN
Rosa has always strived to help others feel comfortable living in their own skin. She took her goal to the medical field, where she can realize her goal literally. Rosa first attended the Universidad Autonoma de Santo Domingo in her hometown in the capital of the Dominican Republic. She began her work in aesthetics in 2005, and quickly learned the entire existing catalog of laser techniques available. In three short years, she bought her own laser hair removal machine to begin her own business, and two years later she purchased another to expand her services into skin rejuvenation, acne treatments, skin tightening, and spider vein removal, which she performed all herself.
In 2012, she added tattoo removal and skin resurfacing to her practice with yet another machine. She eventually decided to bring her mastery of laser services to the United States, and recertified herself as an Aesthetician at the Euphoria Institute of Beauty Arts and Sciences and as a Cosmetic Laser Technician at the National Institute of Modern Aesthetics in 2017. Rosa joined the Medicis team the following year and has since solidified her reputation for providing the highest tier of laser service in the Las Vegas valley. Besides allowing her to accomplish her overall goal of helping people love their skin, she was always drawn to laser for its quick and real effect.
